It was reported that group Black Pink Lisa paid more than a month's salary to nearby merchants in exchange for closing down a street in Thailand to shoot a new music video (MV).

According to foreign media such as Hong Kong's South China Morning Post (SCMP) on the 4th (local time), Lisa filmed a music video for her new song 'Rockstar' on Yawarat Street, a Chinatown in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 3. Filming took place from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. with the streets completely closed.

Lisa gave 20,000 baht (about 750,000 won) compensation to store owners, saying that most of the merchants had caused inconvenience, such as causing noise due to filming, even though it was time for them to finish their business. What's surprising is that the amount is more than a month's salary in Thailand. It is known that 1,000 baht (about 37,000 won) was also given to passers-by who were uncomfortable with street traffic.

Bangkok Mayor Sitipan thanked Lisa for choosing Yao Warat as the filming location for the music videoHe also announced plans to ban cars and install additional traffic signals and public toilets to create walking-only streets.

The fans' response to this was also enthusiastic. "We filmed it on a crowded street, but there were no spoilers because it showed Lisa's status in Thailand. "Lisa's love in Thailand is cool", "Lisa feeds her everything in Thailand" and "Korean Thai as expected."
