According to the music industry, Hyun-chul passed away on the 15th. He was 82.
Currently, it is temporarily laid to rest at Hyemin Hospital in Guui-dong, Seoul. It will be transferred to Asan Medical Center in Seoul for funeral procedures.
Born in 1942, Hyun-chul made his debut in the music industry in 1969 with the release of `My Heartless Love.' Hyun-chul, who had a hard time during his 20 years of obscurity, gained huge popularity by winning the KBS Song Awards for his 1988 release of Bong Seon-hwa Yeon-jeong. Hyun-chul, who said he was in poor health in 2019, also revealed his recent situation in rehabilitation treatment after collapsing from cerebral infarction. Last year, it was reported that he was continuing his life due to nerve damage caused by cervical disc surgery, which caused him to feel sorry.
Eventually, the deceased closed his eyes on the 15th after a battle with the disease. He is survived by his wife, Song Ae-kyung, and one son and one daughter.
