'Moving' Dominates with Multiple Wins; Yim Si-wan and Park Bo-young Shine as Best Actors

There was nothing unusual about the 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards held in Incheon on the afternoon of the 19th. 'Moving' won the most awards and grand prizes, with the entertainers and actors who heated up the year enjoying the recognition.

'Moving' won three awards, including the Grand Prize and the Men's and Women's Rookie Awards. Lee Jung-ha, who received the Rookie of the Year award, reenacted a famous scene, saying, "Thank you for the wonderful award." Ko Yoon-jung added, "I'll work hard, thinking this award is a motivation to strive even harder."

'Verification Zone: The Community' and 'Daily Dose of Sunshine' won the Best Picture awards in the entertainment liberal arts and drama categories, respectively.

The best actor and actress award was given to Yim Si-wan of 'Boyhood', which comforted tired modern people, and Park Bo-young of 'Daily Dose of Sunshine'.

Yim Si-wan expressed gratitude, saying, "If I get a chance next time, I'll be happy to dance with you." Park Bo-young emotionally said, "I took on this project to offer empathy and comfort. If you're going through a dark, long night, I hope you find strength for a good morning."

The Best Supporting Actor and Actress awards were given to Ahn Jae-hong of 'Mask Girl' and Geum Hae-na of 'A Shop for Killers,' both praised for their strong character performances. Ahn Jae-hong, whose performance was so impactful that it sparked rumors of retirement, said, "It's such an honor. Thank you to the director. Moments like this shine because of you. I'll strive to be a good actor with strong performances." Geum Hae-na, surprised and emotional, said, "I wasn't nervous because I didn't expect anything. There must be many people who don't know me, and I didn't think I'd get this award without doing much. Thank you," as she sobbed.

The Male and Female Entertainer awards went to Shin Dong-yup, a leading figure in the SNL series, and Jang Do-yeon, a member of the 'High School Mystery Club.'

Shin Dong-yup expressed his deep connection to the show, saying, "'SNL' is like my identity. I've been under stress for more than a decade, but I cherish that pleasant stress." Jang Do-yeon, in her acceptance speech, said, "I'll be a graceful clown," and danced in celebration.

Kwak Joon-bin and Yoon Ga-yi, who received the Rookie Entertainer Awards, shed tears of joy. Kwak Joon-bin said, "When I received the award, I was planning to mention the names of the people who bothered me, but once I came up, I could only think of the grateful people who helped me get here." Yoon Ga-yi added, "I felt like I was breathing for the first time while doing the program. I was thrilled to think that I could do all the things I wanted to do."
