'Moving' Lee Jung-ha, Ko Yoon-jung Win Rookie Awards

Actors Lee Jung-ha and Ko Yoon-jung received the Male and Female Rookie Awards at the 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards held at Paradise City in Incheon on the afternoon of the 19th.

Lee Jung-ha was praised for his role as Kim Beom-seok, a high school student with superpowers, in the hit series 'Moving'. Other nominees in his category included Kim Woo-seok from 'Night Has Come', Roh Jae-won from 'Daily Dose of Sunshine', Lee Si-woo from 'Boyhood', and Choi Hyun-wook from 'High Cookie'. 

Lee Jung-ha expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you for this great award. I appreciate the director, the senior writer, the entire 'Moving' team, my company, and my family. I heard this might be the last event for 'Moving'. I’ll continue to do what I love," as he reenacted a famous scene from the series.

Ko Yoon-jung won the Female Rookie Award for her portrayal of Jang Hee-soo, a college entrance exam student with regenerative abilities inherited from her father in 'Moving'. She was recognized for her natural acting skills, showcasing a range from intense action to delicate emotional scenes. 

Ko Yoon-jung beat out other nominees, including Kim Hye-jun, Kim Yeol-eum, Lee Yeol-eum, Jang Da-ah, and Jeon Son-yi.

In her acceptance speech, Ko Yoon-jung said, "Thank you to the director, writer, and senior actors. I had so much fun while filming. I’m grateful to my family and my agency. This award motivates me to work even harder." She struggled to hold back tears as she spoke.
