Chang Doo-seok, 66, died of a chronic disease today (22nd)



Comedian Jang Doo-seok has passed away. He was 66.

According to the Comedy Association on the 22nd, Jang Doo-seok died on the same day. The deceased is known to have had a chronic disease.

Jang debuted in 1980 with the TBC Dongyang Broadcasting Gag Contest, and the following year, he re-debutted with the KBS Korea Broadcasting Corporation Gag Contest, and became popular by appearing in KBS2 'Humor1' and 'Show Video Jockey'. In particular, it received great love through corners such as 'David', 'Simmons', 'Jang and Light Life'. In the 2015 tvN drama `Reply 1988', Jang Doo-seok's buzzword, such as "Excuse me~", became a hot topic again.




He turned into a singer and released albums such as 'Tonight' and 'Choice'. In 2013, Channel A 'That Person' told how he was living his second life as a meditation preacher.

Meanwhile, Jang Doo-seok's mortuary was set up in Room 8 of the St. Mary's Funeral Hall in Yeouido, Seoul. The coffin will be borne at 8 a.m. on the 24th, and the burial site will be Paju Tongil-ro Memorial Park.
