Kwon Jin-young, CEO of Hook Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as Hook), has been sentenced to prison.

On the 4th, the Seoul Central District Court held a trial date for Kwon Jin-young, who was indicted on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.

On the same day, the prosecution demanded three years in prison, confiscation of disciplinary affairs, and a fine of 170,000 won. Hook employee Choi was sentenced to two years in prison and 20,000 won in additional fines, and Kim was sentenced to eight months in prison and 150,000 won in additional fines.



CEO Kwon is accused of ordering two employees to be prescribed Stilnox tablets for false symptoms between January and July 2022 and receiving 17 tablets three times.

At the previous hearing, representative Kwon expressed his intention to acknowledge and reflect on all the charges. The lawyer said, "I have been paralyzed from the waist down due to cerebral infarction in the past, and I have been prescribed sleeping pills for treatment and treatment to prevent recurrence of cerebral infarction," he said, appealing for leniency.



CEO Kwon has been at odds with his artist Lee Seung-ki since November 2022 over issues such as settlement payments.

The sentencing date for Kwon will be held on August 8.
