According to Hyun-chul's wife, Song Ae-kyung, the deceased said that he was happy to be a singer even during his battle with the disease, and he missed the stage very much. The mortuary of the deceased was set up in Room 1 of the funeral hall of Asan Medical Center in Seoul.
