HYBE Responds to Lawsuit Filed by Min Hee-jin

CEO Min Hee-jin of Ador has filed a lawsuit against five executives of HYBE, including CEO Park Ji-won. In response, HYBE has stated it will assert its innocence against the allegations.

In an official statement on the 24th, HYBE addressed the claims made by CEO Min Hee-jin and Ador: "We would like to inform you of the allegations made by CEO Min Hee-jin, who has sued HYBE's management."

HYBE clarified that CEO Min Hee-jin has not submitted any information assets, such as laptops, to HYBE. The two deputy representatives did submit their information assets voluntarily. "We did not forcibly acquire them," HYBE stated, refuting Min's claims.

"We have already informed the court during the provisional interrogation that we have never conducted a forensic analysis on the laptop CEO Min Hee-jin returned in the past," HYBE continued. The company also revealed that CEO Min Hee-jin sent numerous business-related emails, including conversations with shamans, from her HYBE business email account to an external recipient identified as a high-ranking official of partner company B.

Furthermore, HYBE noted that CEO Min Hee-jin had agreed to the processing of personal information when she joined the company, and this information was disclosed during the provisional interrogation. "We will respond to CEO Min Hee-jin and others who have sued with false information, despite our repeated clarifications."

Earlier, CEO Min Hee-jin's legal representative, Sejong, announced that a complaint was filed with Yongsan Police Station in Seoul against five HYBE executives on charges including obstruction of business, tampering with electronic records, infringement of information and communication networks, and defamation. The executives named in the complaint are CEO Park Ji-won, Audit Committee Chairman Lim Soo-hyun, Chief Legal Officer Chung Jin-soo, Chief Financial Officer Lee Kyung-joon, and Chief Communications Officer Park Tae-hee.
