It has been reported that a male celebrity in his 40s who assaulted a citizen for reporting his drunk driving has been investigated by the police.

On the 9th, the Seongdong Police Station in Seoul booked a male entertainer in his 40s on charges of assault and conducted an investigation.

A is accused of drinking at a restaurant in Gangnam-gu, Seoul at around 3:40 a.m. on the 2nd and driving under the influence of alcohol for about 3km to his home in Seongdong-gu. The police, who were dispatched after receiving a report, conducted a breathalyzer test of A and found that the level of license cancellation (more than 0.08%) was detected.

In addition, it is reported that A is being investigated for assault charges due to disputes with the reporters. The police first sent A's drunk driving charges and are checking the facts by receiving statements from the victim and A on the assault charges.
