Incheon International Airport Corporation said it will take measures in connection with the controversy over actor Byun Woo-seok's 'excessive security'.

Lee Hak-jae, president of Incheon International Airport Corporation, was asked about the recent controversy over Byun Woo-suk's 'excessive security' at a plenary session of the National Assembly's Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee on the 17th.

On this day, Rep. Jeon Yong-gi of the Democratic Party of Korea said, `Who is responsible for the controversy. What was lacking at Incheon International Airport?" he said. "I knew clearly that a security company would come, but was there any consultation before I guarded him?"

In response, President Lee Hak-jae said "The security company and the police do not consult with us. The construction is notified by the police. "It's the first time this has happened since the airport was built. We failed to fully anticipate and come up with countermeasures in advance", he stated his position.

He said, `Hundreds of celebrities (via Incheon International Airport) are going out a year, and there has never been such a special case of over-reaction by a private security company like now, so I will take this opportunity to take this opportunity to take measures" he said.

In addition, Rep. Jeon controlled the gate, although it was 48 seconds, a short time, and interfered with airport passengers and prevented them from entering. The private security company used a flash to light up the eyes and inspected the tickets himself."There must have been airport staff, and the private security company should have been properly controlled, but no action was taken", he pointed out.

In response, President Lee "It is an illegal act. It's a ridiculous situation. We are responsible for not finding it"We need to check again, but it's wrong to control the gate without permission." I will hold you accountable for this," he stressed. He added "We will also take measures to prevent recurrence."

Meanwhile, Byun Woo-seok was embroiled in a controversy over the excessive security of bodyguards from private companies while departing for Hong Kong for an Asian fan meeting tour on the 12th.

At the time, the security company was controversial for controlling the airport gate for 10 minutes to prevent crowds, shooting strong flashes to prevent lounge users from taking photos, and checking passengers' tickets and passports.

On the 15th, Byun Woo-seok's agency Baro Entertainment requested that the company stop acting after recognizing the behavior of the bodyguard who flashed a flash at the airport's passengers"We were unable to recognize the gate, flight tickets, and detailed security situation on the site, but we feel moral responsibility for all unsavory matters in the course of carrying out security, and we bow down and apologize to the users who felt uncomfortable."

On the 16th, the Incheon International Airport Police Agency reportedly launched a pre-book investigation into whether the bodyguards who guarded Byun Woo-suk violated the criminal law's obstruction of business, coercion, and assault.
