When asked why he didn't want to call him, In-soon said, `I actually never saw my father. I've never felt emotions between a father and a child. It was just my father watching it on TV." In-soon's father was a veteran who had no choice but to leave for his home country after the Korean War.
When he first received the song, In-soon, who never thought of singing his father in his life, offered just one condition and entered the recording studio, which was that there should be no word 'father' in the lyrics.
In response, Insoon said "I don't have 'father' in my life at a young age. And this is my fate, so let's not be swayed as it is and live well as it is." He said he spent his childhood making a promise and making a promise even in his childhood. "So I've been living so upright and unshakable until now," he added.
