'Sweet Home 3' Director Lee Eung-bok 'Regretful mind? Staff take turns 'Let's stop'

'Sweet Home 3' Director Lee Eung-bok expressed his public feelings.

Director Lee Eung-bok of the original Netflix series 'Sweet Home 3' (directed by Lee Eung-bok and Park So-hyun) met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 25th for an interview.

Director Lee Eung-bok said "It's a pity that it doesn't seem to be over yet. I think it's been about a week since it opened, but I'm watching it. There are a lot of things that I felt sorry for, but I regret a lot because I am not afraid to try new things. In fact, when this project started, the main staff took turns one by one after the other, saying, `Wouldn't it be okay to quit or drop it?' I think I was too afraid. I saw them in front of me and told them 'regretful mind' It was an internal confession. I never imagined that the project would attract so much attention that so many reporters gathered because it started with such fear.

It was a project to try to be quiet and finish it, but as I did it for the first time, I went through a lot of difficulties and had a lot of things. There is also the joy of accomplishing something new in the process, and it seems that it was a COVID-19 situation when season 1 was released. We met online, and at that time, I was just satisfied with the results just because I did something, but many people gave me more love than I thought, so I was able to produce it together until season 2 and season 3. I think it was an amazing and amazing experience. When the word "creator" was introduced in Korea, there were many minor genres, never introduced, and even if it was tried, it was difficult, so as a result, there were many bad experiences, so it was surprising and I'm grateful."

Director Lee Eung-bok thought and thought a lot in the process of doing seasons 2 and 3, but I think I've come to commit a lot about how to repay the viewers and go further. There were various trials and errors, and the results of thinking about what other creators made were released last week, and I have no regrets about that and I did my best, so I recently heard that there are a lot of creative works being planned. We are also eager to help other creators with both the merits and demerits of our 's Sweet Home'. I have a complicated mind.'

Director Lee said, `I can't see the point where I'm worried about many things to eat. I thought the real part of working or feeling was important. As I composed the real part, I moved under such principles to make the emotions of the characters accurately, and there are different parts depending on when I watch it, and I enjoyed watching it in the 19th century, but the original fans must have felt various short and intense emotions in the process of first appearing according to the relationship, then dispersing in season 2 and then gathering again. They like that part, and it's actually exciting and good on the set. It was unfortunate that the main characters met again, and of course, as soon as they met, they experienced new hardships, but it seems to have informed the essence of Sweet Home," he self-praised.

'Sweet Home 3' is a Netflix series about the desperate and desperate struggles of those who are at the crossroads of choice between a monster and an ambiguous boundary between a monster and a human being. Season 1 is based on the webtoon of the same name by Kim Kan-bi and Hwang Young-chan, and it is a work that has raised viewers' expectations at once by starring a large number of attractive characters in a solid world view. Seasons 2 and 3, which were subsequently released, were newly written as original stories that expanded the original. Despite the extreme pros and cons, domestic and foreign performances are doing well. According to Flix Patrol on the 21st, it ranked first in nine countries, including Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam, proving its still fan spirit.
