Jang Na-ra's sighting of her husband's affair made her burst from the first broadcast of 'Shock'Good Partner'
'Good Partner' captured the real world of divorce lawyers and stimulated empathy in reality.

SBS' new Friday-Saturday drama 'Good Partner' was first aired on the 12th in favorable reviews. While interestingly capturing the fierce daily life of divorce lawyers, the process of solving it with different perspectives from the stories of people facing divorce has aroused empathy in reality. Above all, the reasonable clash between Cha Eun-kyung (Jang Na-ra), a renowned 'Veteran' star lawyer, and Han Yu-ri (Nam Ji-hyun), a new lawyer who made a crash landing on the divorce team, heightened expectations for the upcoming 'Sweet'Warmance and left-handed law firm survival. Actors such as Jang Na-ra, Nam Ji-hyun, Kim Joon-han, and Pyo Ji-hoon, who built various forms of divorce lawyers in three dimensions, maximized empathy and immersion.

The audience's response was also enthusiastic. The ratings for the first episode were 8.1 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area and 7.8 percent nationwide (based on Nielsen Korea), signaling a good start. The 2049 ratings also showed 2.4%, and the instant peak ratings soared to 10.8%, leading to an explosive response.

On this day's broadcast, new lawyer Han Yu-ri was depicted entering the law firm 'Daejeong'. Han Yu-ri is the first person to go to work looking only at the desperately wanted 'corporate team'. But an unexpected crisis of a lifetime awaited him. The team Han Yu-ri was assigned was the only one she wanted to avoid. Another difficulty continued for Han Yu-ri, who was unfamiliar and puzzled with everything. Cha Eun-kyung, a star lawyer with so different values, was a direct supervisor, and it was not easy to deal with him, who was formidable. Cha Eun-kyung's proposal to Han Yu-ri, who wanted to go to the corporate team, was unexpected. That the divorce team should do well. Han Yu-ri made up her mind when she said that if she won 10 consecutive cases, she would be transferred to the corporate team.

However, it was not smooth from the first incident. Han Yu-ri's case was a divorce lawsuit due to her client's affair. Even his son, who agreed with his client Park Jong-sik's (Jang Hyuk-jin) claim that his wife had a medical certificate, Han Yu-ri was convinced that he was not an affair after consulting with Park Jong-sik. Cha Eun-kyung expressed her displeasure with Han Yu-ri's 'Confident'. Cha Eun-kyung, who has long experience, ordered the agreement, but Han Yu-ri decided to dismiss the case with confidence.

That's how the first trial began. Han Yu-ri stated that the case should be dismissed with the claim that Park Jong-sik did not want a divorce, citing the allegations of the plaintiff Kim Eun-hee (Shim So-young). However, the plaintiff attorney's submission of evidence soon found out that Park Jong-sik was lying, and the trial eventually went against him. Since then, Han Yu-ri was worried that if she falsely argued, the plaintiff would be difficult. Then Cha Eun-kyung "We're agents. Defend for the benefit of the party. You got a fee from the defendant. You should at least lie about it,' he said, giving a bone-chilling advice. Then, Han Yu-ri became more confused by Cha Eun-kyung's change of stance, which moves according to efficiency, saying, "A large amount of money is at stake as a success fee."

Han Yu-ri needed a new breakthrough to win the case. Han Yu-ri submitted a transcript containing conversations of the plaintiff's family members who claimed that even she, a lawyer, was an affair woman and her son's handwritten affidavit as evidence, and Park Jong-sik's colleagues' testimony highlighted the plaintiff's extreme suspicion and did their best to reverse the situation. In the end, Han Yu-ri won the first trial. However, the plaintiff's lament that Park Jong-sik's affair was the sixth time so far kept confusing his head. I won the case, but the reality I faced was so bitter and heavy. Han Yu-ri's appearance of returning to the office with a complicated mind and writing his resignation letter made me wonder about his next move.

On top of that, the shock ending of the twist surprised everyone. Han Yu-ri visited the mental and physical stability room recommended by Jeon Eun-ho (Pyo Ji-hoon). Unexpected situations unfolded in front of me, overshadowing the idea of emptying my head. Kim Ji-sang (Ji Seung-hyun), Cha Eun-kyung's husband and medical advisor to a law firm, witnessed a kiss with a mysterious woman. The shocking appearance of Han Yu-ri and Cha Eun-kyung, who subsequently appeared at the scene, created tension and amplified questions about future developments.

'Good Partner' was written by an incumbent divorce lawyer, so it was an extremely realistic episode and proved to be valuable from the first episode. Episodes and real-life characters that seem to be everywhere around us have doubled their attractiveness. Jang Na-ra and Nam Ji-hyun's 'Sweet and Salty'Warmance was more perfect than expected. Cha Eun-kyung's charm of being a mentor to new lawyer Han Yu-ri with feisty, sometimes too cold, but bone-chilling advice added to the specialness by meeting Jang Na-ra's color. Nam Ji-hyun led empathy by portraying Han Yu-ri's struggles with the spirit of a new lawyer and the harsh and bitter reality. The values and methods are different, so they collide from moment to moment, but the goals are the same Cha Eun-kyung and Han Yuri. This is why the team play of the two lawyers is more expected.
