Jimin's new report 'MUSE' added a Billboard chart record.

According to a chart preview article posted on the official website of Billboard on the 29th (Korea Standard Time), BTS Jimin's second solo album 'MUSE' was ranked second in the main album chart 'Billboard 200' (August 3rd). Jimin's new album sold 74,000 albums, 15,000 SEA units (sales converting the number of streams), and 7,000 TEA units (sales converting the number of digital music downloads).

As a result, Jimin entered the Billboard 200 for the second time in his career after his first solo album 'FACE' (2nd place) released last year. In particular, at the time of the release of 'FACE', Jimin recorded the highest ranking of any K-pop solo artist on the chart. Later, BTS members, including Suga's 'D-DAY', V's 'Layover', and Jungkook's 'GOLDEN', set tie records with solo albums.

Jimin's success continues on the global chart. On the 28th, Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, ranked No. 1 in the `Daily Top Song Global' on the 27th, maintaining its No. 1 ranking for 5 consecutive days (23-27th). Earlier, the song entered the UK's official singles chart at No. 4, breaking the highest ranking among Jimin's solo songs.

Meanwhile, 'MUSE', which was released on the 19th, is an album about the journey of finding inspiration surrounding 'I'. Jimin participated in composing and writing six of the seven tracks and honestly told the story he wanted to tell. The title song 'Who' is a hip-hop R&B genre song that sings about the affectionate situation of missing someone you've never met and confused feelings.
