On the 25th, the Civil Agreement Department 31 (Chief Judge Kim Sang-woo) of the Seoul Central District Court ruled in favor of part of the plaintiff in a lawsuit filed by drama production company Victory Contents against Kiist, Jisoo's former agency.
As Ji-Soo was embroiled in suspicions of school violence in 2021, KBS2 Monday-Tuesday drama 'Moon River', which was appearing at the time, also caught fire. At the time, Jisoo said, "I sincerely apologize to those who suffered because of me", he admitted to the allegations of school violence and dropped out. It was the time when Ji-Soo's filming was aired until the 6th episode, and after that, Nine Woo was put in place of Ji-Soo. It happened at a time when more than 95% of the drama had already been filmed as a semi-pre-production drama.
At the time, the production company filed a lawsuit against Jisoo for damages of KRW 3 billion, and "The time when it was pre-produced and there was controversy over the school violence was almost over. However, as the actor was replaced, they had no choice but to take a full retake of the scenes. Although the production cost was enormous for the company, and additional cost losses were enormous due to the re-shooting, we made a great decision to re-shoot the entire amount of episodes 1 to 6 in order to keep our promise to show the viewers one completed work," he said, explaining the background of the lawsuit.
Meanwhile, Jisoo's contract with Keystone was terminated after getting off 'Daltgang' and joined the army. After completing his alternative service as a social service worker last year, he also said he resolved the misunderstanding with the first distributor of the school.
