On the 3rd (Korean time), Big Hit Music, the agency, said "BTS Jin will be the torchbearer for the '2024 Paris Summer Olympics' to be held on July 27." Although no specific schedule has been disclosed, Jin is expected to participate in the torch relay and spread the message of 'harmony' and 'peace'.
Jin's BTS is called the "21st Century Pop Icon" and has made a mark on the popular music scene. BTS, which has established itself as a global artist in name and reality, has been practicing good influence through two speeches at the UN General Assembly and the 'LOVE MYSELF' campaign, which has been followed by the UNICEF Korean Committee since 2017.
Meanwhile, the torch relay '2024 Paris Summer Olympics" began in Olympia, Greece in April and will travel to 64 regions, including downtown France and beaches, until the day of the event. Jin and torchbearers tour the historic site symbolizing the host country.
