Cho Min-woong, a vocalist who appeared on JTBC Phantom Singer 2, suddenly passed away. He was 37.

Cho Min-woong's official fan cafe reported the death of Cho Min-woong on the 6th. The deceased was found dead on the 29th of last month after collapsing from a heart attack while alone at home.

The cafe's management team said, `We have come to deliver incredible and sad news.' `Our eternal star, Cho Min-woong, has passed away.'

"He died of a heart attack while alone at home, and his mother found him late, so he put on makeup." The funeral is being held at 49 times at the temple," he said.

Only 20 days ago, on the 9th of last month, he appeared on KBS2 'Open Concert', so people and acquaintances around him responded to the sudden sad news.

Fellow singers also paid tribute by posting photos taken with the deceased on their accounts. Cho Min-woong, born in 1987, graduated from Yonsei University's Department of Vocal Music after graduating from Seoul Yewon School and Seoul Arts High School, and won the top prize in the Haydn International Competition. In 2017, he appeared on JTBC 'Phantom Singer 2' and made his name and face known to the public. Recently, KBS2 'Open Concert' sang 'Travel' and 'Safe of My Hurt'.
