CCTV released at the time showed A grabbing his stomach and complaining of pain, but late at night, a nursing assistant and a guardian tied A to bed after feeding him/her medicine. After that, when A had a nosebleed and gasped, he released the bond within an hour and left the room without any action. Eventually, emergency measures began to be taken against A, who lost consciousness, but A died 17 days after being hospitalized. As a result of the autopsy, the cause of death of A was estimated to be a pseudo intestinal obstruction.
The bereaved family of A filed a criminal complaint against the medical staff for abandoned death and filed a complaint with the National Human Rights Commission of Korea. The police booked the CEO and employees for violating the medical law and launched an investigation.
In particular, when the hospital where the accident occurred after the report was known to be run by the brothers, some netizens speculated that it was run by Yang Jae-jin and Yang Jae-woong, a psychiatrist who gained popularity through various broadcasts.

In this regard, Yang Jae-woong wrote in his agency Mystic Story on the 29th that `In connection with the incident that occurred during the hospitalization process at Wjin Hospital, I and all medical staff cannot hide their terrible feelings, and I sincerely apologize to the bereaved families who are grieving after losing the deceased and their families," he said in an official statement.
He said "As the hospital director, I take this case very seriously"In response to the ongoing investigation, this hospital is doing its best to cooperate with external agencies, including providing CCTVs containing all the conditions at the time, including the medical chart."," he said.

Meanwhile, Hani reported the news of her marriage in May 2024, four years after she continued her public relationship with Yang Jae-woong. The two are getting married in September.
