RM's second solo album is receiving positive reviews every day.

BTS RM's second solo album 'Right Place, Wrong Person' released in May this year was selected as the best K-pop album selected by staff in the first half of 2024 by the U.S. music media Billboard. Billboard said "RM explores his identity and emotions once again through his most ambitious 2024 album."

Billboard then commented 'Light Place, Long Persson' is a work that experimented musically and shared his thoughts sincerely. It also focused on the track "'Come back to me', 'Domodachi' and others, saying, "'It feels more like a space where RM reflects and unravels his mind rather than popularity' and added, "'It sounds like he expressed all aspects of himself freely (through this album)."

The AP, the largest U.S. news agency, also cited RM's album as the `Best Album in the First Half of 2024.' The AP says "BTS's thoughtful leader RM achieves great results with his philosophical, unafraid spirit of challenge every time he presents a solo work. The album asks profound questions with music regardless of genre.

Conservation of Sound, an American music media outlet, called RM's second solo album an "experimental album" and selected the song 'Modachi (feat. Little Simz)' as the best song in the first half of 2024.

RM's new report was well received by leading overseas media shortly after its release. Foreign media such as "Beautiful and Interesting Artworks" (NME), "RM's Wonderful Solo Journey" (Grammy Dotcom), and "BTS Leader's Charming Musical Journey" (Hayibbeest) praised his musicality. In fact, RM has expanded his own music world by challenging the alternative genre and collaborating with artists of various colors through this album.

'Light Place, Long Persson' deals with a moment that feels like a 'unfitted stranger', and talks about this universal feeling that anyone would have felt in their lives. Upon the release of the new album, RM became the first K-pop solo artist to put the two works on the chart top 5 in a row, reaching No. 5 on the Billboard main album chart 'Billboards 200'. At No. 37 on the UK official album chart, it broke its own record for solo albums.
