In August 2022, Seo Min-jae posted a message on his SNS account, 'Nam Tae-hyun methamphetamine. And there is a syringe that I wrote in my room or company cabinet. And I hit him, he confessed to taking drugs with Nam Tae-hyun. At the time, Nam Tae-hyun denied taking drugs, saying, `It was done in anger after a quarrel between lovers.' Nam Tae-hyun and Seo Min-jae are accused of buying 0.5g of methamphetamine through SNS in August 2022 and then administering methamphetamine diluted in alcohol at Seo Min-jae's residence. In December of the same year, Nam Tae-hyun was also charged with diluting 0.2g of methamphetamine in water.

In response, the court sentenced Nam Tae-hyun to one year in prison and two years of probation. Seo Min-jae, who took methamphetamine together, was sentenced to 10 months in prison and two years of probation.
