Kim Min-ki, who was born in 1951, received great love in 1970 when she released 'Morning Isul'. 'Morning Isul' was a hit song sung by singer Yang Hee-eun and was recognized as a folk song as it was sung as a democratic protest song in the 1987s. In the aftermath, Kim Min-ki's debut album, released in 1971, was confiscated by the state and 'Blooming Child'Old Soldier's Song'Evergreen' was designated as prohibited songs.
In 1991, he opened Daehak-ro Small Theater 'Hakjeon' and took the lead in fostering junior artists. Singer Kim Kwang-seok Park Semester Yoon Do-hyun Jang Pil-soon Zoo Glass Box Lee Eun-mi Bicycle Scenery Crying Nut Harim Wax Kim Hyun-cheol Kangsan Jeong-ha, and actors Hwang Jung-min, Seol Kyung-gu, Jang Hyun-sung, Lee Jung-eun, and Kim Yoon-seok were on the school stage.
However, the school closed in March due to Kim Min-ki's diagnosis of gastric cancer last year and financial difficulties.
Later in May, Hwang Jung-min gathered new actors and taught us the basics again in SBS 'Hakjeon and Behind the scenes'Kim Min-ki'. I devoted my 20s to the school. For me, he was like a textbook, and Kim Dae-myeong said "If I were to be an actor in my life, I would have liked to start in school." Not only me, but everyone who was preparing or working as an actor at the same time must have felt the same way. The competition rate was incredible, too," he recalled. Lee Sun-bin "I had a lot of interviews because my voice and pronunciation were bad. I learned it separately from Kim Min-ki. I learned everything from how to warm up, how to breathe, and pronunciation when singing. You must have been frustrated because you didn't know how to do anything, but I don't remember being scolded. It was not a teacher who trampled on my lack, but I felt that he told me that it was okay"He confessed.
