On the afternoon of the 10th, the first trial was held for Kim Ho-joong, who was arrested and charged with dangerous driving injuries and running injuries under the Specific Crime Aggravated Punishment Act, and inaction after accidents under the Road Traffic Act.
In addition to Kim Ho-joong, Lee Kwang-deuk, CEO of his agency, Thinking Entertainment, who is accused of destroying evidence, former head of the division who is accused of abetting drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act, and manager Jang, who was accused of driving under the Road Traffic Act, were also tried.
On this day, Kim Ho-joong's fans flocked to the court from an early hour to cheer for him. The fandom, which had previously submitted more than 100 petitions for leniency, has taken another collective action.
In the meantime, Kim Ho-joong's parents said "It's my child's fault. It's because he's afraid." He reportedly shed tears.

Kim Ho-joong is accused of driving drunk on a road in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at around 11:40 p.m. on May 9, when he violated the central line and hit a taxi stopped on the opposite road and ran away.
After the accident, Jang changed into the clothes Kim Ho-joong was wearing and turned himself in. CEO Lee Kwang-deuk and former head of the division actively helped Kim Ho-joong by damaging the vehicle's black box memory card.
Since Kim Ho-joong admitted to the police only after 17 hours, he could not prove that his blood alcohol level was more than 0.03% at the time of the accident, and as Kim Ho-joong drank several times at time intervals, it was difficult to specify the drinking level due to the reverse calculation applying the Weedmark formula that inferred the blood alcohol level over time.
Ten days after the accident, Kim Ho-joong said, `I am truly sorry for the hurt and disappointment caused to many people by the fault of the moment," he said.
However, the court arrested Kim Ho-joong on the 18th of last month, saying there were concerns about the destruction of evidence.
