On the 29th, Prosecutor General Lee Won-seok was briefed by Suwon District Prosecutors' Office Chief Kim Yoo-chul on the situation of the cyber-rekka alliance's racketeering investigation into Tzuyang and ordered strict response.
Lee said, `Strictly respond to the distribution of malicious content, threats and racketeering crimes committed by Cyber Lekka, which promotes hatred for profit-making and profit-making purposes and causes extreme defamation and insults regardless of celebrities and ordinary people, and deprive criminal proceeds.'
Earlier, the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "Gae Se-yeon") revealed that the so-called Cyberrekka alliance, including foot-and-mouth disease (real name Lee Joon-hee) and main inspection agency (real name Kukjejin) Caracula, extorted tens of millions of won on the condition that Tzuyang did not reveal her past of assault and intimidation from her former boyfriend and agency representative.
Caracula claimed that she had never threatened Tzuyang by risking her two children, but eventually announced her retirement from YouTube and closure of her office, admitting that she had threatened another YouTuber to take the money. The foot-and-mouth disease was asked by Tzuyang's agency and claimed to have acted as a double spy to stop other YouTubers trying to expose Tzuyang's past. The lead author acknowledged that he received the money.
In the end, the court issued an arrest warrant for foot-and-mouth disease and main inspection. The Suwon District Prosecutors' Office will continue to investigate other people involved in the case in addition to the two arrested.
Meanwhile, the so-called `Tzuyang Act' has been submitted to the National Assembly's petition for public consent. Noh Jong-eon, a lawyer at Ongang Law Firm, who legislated the 「Save the Law」, and Lee Go-eun, a lawyer at the law firm, requested a revision of the Information and Communication Network Act on confiscation of profits and punitive damages for the dissemination of fake news by Cyber Recka. They say that tougher punishments should be given because the punishment for fake news is currently light at the level of softness.
However, it remains to be seen whether the war against Cyberrekka will be over.
Ga Se-yeon, who was the starting point of the Tzuyang scandal, urged an apology broadcast, saying she would expose Tzuyang's lies about working at entertainment establishments and informants.
