TV Daily reported on the 2nd that Kim Sae-ron recently got a job as a full-time employee of a cafe in Seongsu-dong and a manager who manages the entire cafe, including in charge of cashiers. Kim Sae-ron is said to have been active in his work, including accepting customers without hesitation.
Earlier, on May 18, 2022, Kim Sae-ron was drunk driving near Hakdong Intersection in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, causing an accident in which guardrails and street trees were hit more than three times. At the time of the accident, Kim Saeron's blood alcohol concentration was about 0.2%, which was confirmed to have been intoxicated, far exceeding 0.08% based on the license cancellation standard. In addition, a nearby transformer broke down due to an accident at the time, causing business disruptions in the area due to power outages.
In April last year, Judge Lee Hwan-ki of the Seoul Central District Court sentenced Kim Sae-ron, who was indicted on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving, not even after the accident), to a fine of 20 million won. During the trial, Kim Sae-ron appealed for leniency by revealing his difficulties in life, but he was criticized for his false part-time job controversy and sightings of a hold-up pub.
