"I don't want to set the limit"..'Marriage and childbirth' Son Ye-jin says'Son Ye-jin Chapter 2'

Son Ye-jin attended a press conference held at a department store in Bucheon on the 5th and told her story. This press conference is a special exhibition that highlights the acting world of Son Ye-jin at the 28th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN), which opened on the 4th. The special exhibition will screen six of Son Ye-jin's representative films, including Kwak Jae-yong's 『Classic" (2003).
Son Ye-jin married actor Hyun Bin in 2002 and gave birth to a son later that year, and after two years of concentrating on parenting, she went on a public appearance for the first time in a long time. Son Ye-jin said, `In a way, I feel like the 'Chapter 1' of my actor's life is over. Now, I'm entering the Chapter 2, and I'm so grateful that he held a special exhibition at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, giving me an opportunity to look back on the past and take a leap forward again. Son Ye-jin is an innocent actor who represents Korea. After his debut through director Lim Kwon-taek's 『Chihwaseon" (2002), he became an icon of his first love through director Lee Han's 『Love Novel』 (2002).
But Son Ye-jin didn't stop there. He tried to discover a new face that goes beyond innocence in various works. From director Lee Jae-han's 「Eraser in My Head」 (2004) to director Jung Yoon-soo's"My Wife Is Married' (2008) and director Lee Kyung-mi's"No Secrets" (2015), they did not stop growing by changing new faces.

Recently, he has entered the second act of his life after marrying, getting pregnant, and giving birth to Hyun Bin. Son Ye-jin, now in her 40s, is moving forward with another change and growth. Son Ye-jin, who described this period as 'Chapter 2', said "The happiest thing about having a child and raising it for nearly two years is knowing the importance of daily life. Work used to be everything, and I struggled in it. He couldn't separate himself from his work. But these days, I'm so happy if my child simply eats one meal of baby food. Just because the day ended safely, I felt happy and my values changed" he said.
Son Ye-jin is scheduled to finish her two-year hiatus and work on a new film with director Park Chan-wook, following her first public appearance at the Bucheon Fantastic Film Festival. In response, Son Ye-jin said "Please wait until the official announcement is made," but expectations are high on Son Ye-jin's appearance in front of the public in a new way.
