Earlier on the 26th, SBS reported that a woman A died at a mental hospital in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do, run by a famous psychiatrist. It is reported that A was hospitalized to treat addiction to diet drugs containing narcotics.
CCTV released at the time showed A grabbing his stomach and complaining of pain, but late at night, a nursing assistant and a guardian tied A to bed after feeding him/her medicine. After that, when A had a nosebleed and gasped, he released the bond within an hour and left the room without any action. Eventually, emergency measures began to be taken against A, who lost consciousness, but A died 17 days after being hospitalized. As a result of the autopsy, the cause of death of A was estimated to be a pseudo intestinal obstruction.
The bereaved family of A filed a criminal complaint against the medical staff for abandoned death and filed a complaint with the National Human Rights Commission of Korea. The police booked the CEO and employees for violating the medical law and launched an investigation. In this regard, the hospital said "A doctor on duty was waiting to be called on the day of the accident, and he has also been conducting training on responding to accidents such as CPR." In particular, when the hospital where the accident occurred after the report was known to be run by the brothers, some netizens speculated that it was run by Yang Jae-jin and Yang Jae-woong, a psychiatrist who gained popularity through various broadcasts. Meanwhile, Hani reported the news of her marriage in May 2024, four years after she continued her public relationship with Yang Jae-woong. The two are getting married in September.
