Will Kim Ho-joong be considered for donating homeless people during drunk hit-and-run trials

Singer Kim Ho-joong's good deed, who is on trial for drunk hit-and-run, was belatedly known.

Kim Ho-joong donated 15 million won to a temporary shelter for homeless people in Seoul Station in May. He was planning a volunteer activity to provide breakfast to 250 homeless people staying at the facility, but reportedly donated 15 million won to the facility as it became difficult to keep his promise after a police investigation began on May 9 when he suffered a drunk hit-and-run accident.

At around 11:40 p.m. on May 9, Kim Ho-joong was driving drunk on a road in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, when he violated the central line, hit a taxi stopped on the opposite road, and ran away, and turned himself in to the police 17 hours later. In the process, manager Jang changed into the clothes Kim Ho-joong was wearing and turned himself in, and former head of Thinking Entertainment Lee Kwang-deuk and former head of the headquarters helped Kim Ho-joong by damaging the vehicle's black box memory card.

Kim Ho-joong initially denied the allegations, but 10 days after the accident, he changed his position, saying, `I am truly sorry for the hurt and disappointment to many people due to the fault of one moment.'

Currently, he was arrested and charged with dangerous driving injuries and running injuries under the Specific Crime Aggravated Punishment Act and inaction after accidents under the Road Traffic Act, and completed the first trial on the 10th. At the first trial, the decision to admit the allegations was postponed to the next time. The second hearing will take place on August 19.
