Yongsan Police Station in Seoul said on the 26th that Yoo Ah-in was booked on charges of sexually assaulting a man who was sleeping in an officetel on the 14th. Under the current law, similar rape is applied when the same sex sexually assaulted.
The officetel was not the residence of Yoo Ah-in and A, and there were reportedly other men, including Yoo Ah-in and A, at the time.
The police also leave open the possibility that a toddler committed the crime while taking drugs, as he is currently on trial for habitual drug use. The complainant A's investigation was conducted the day before, and a simple drug reagent test showed a negative reaction. The police reportedly reviewed A's complaint and have not yet informed the infant.
In a related development, lawyer Dongjin Bang Jung-hyun of the law firm, the legal representative of Yoo Ah-in, denied the accusation by saying in an official statement on the 26th that `the contents of the complaint related to Yoo Ah-in are not true.' `We ask you to refrain from making unnecessary speculations regarding your private life.'
Earlier, Yoo Ah-in was sentenced to four years in prison, a fine of 2 million won, and a fine of 1.54 million won by the prosecution at a final trial held on the 24th.

Meanwhile, Yoo Ah-in's sentence will be held at 2 p.m. on September 3.
