As basketball player Heo Woong continues his legal battle with his ex-girlfriend Jeon, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul transferred the case to Yongin Seobu Police Station in Gyeonggi Province.

The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul said on the 16th that it transferred the case to Yongin Seobu Police Station in consideration of the jurisdiction of Heo's address.

Heo Woong is suspected of having forced sexual intercourse after committing an assault with his ex-lover, identified only by his surname Jeon, at a hotel in Seoul around May 14, 2021. In this regard, Jeon filed a complaint against Heo on charges of rape and injury on the 9th. This is also a counter-action to Huh's complaint against Jeon on the 26th of last month on charges of racketeering, intimidation, and violation of the punishment law for stalking crimes.

Heo Woong and Jeon met in 2018 through the introduction of acquaintances and became lovers, but they finally broke up in December 2021 after repeatedly meeting and breaking up for various reasons. Jeon was pregnant twice at the time of the relationship, but reportedly had an abortion surgery.

Heo Woong was born in 1993 and is a basketball player for KCC Egis. Heo Hoon, the son of former basketball player Heo Jae and younger brother, is the main guard of Suwon KT.
