The 12th 'Busan International Comedy Festival (BICF)' unveiled a lineup of overseas performance teams that will provide intense laughter.
The 12th Busan International Comedy Festival (BICF)' (hereinafter 'Bukope') which will be held for 10 days from August 23 (Fri) to September 1 (Sun), raised expectations of prospective audiences by unveiling a diverse lineup of domestic performance teams. Today (19th) additional participants from overseas performance teams were announced to make the theater performance perfect in a more full composition.
First, 'Tape Face' is the best non-verbal show recognized by 'American Got Talent' and is a stand-up comedy that freely crosses mime and slapstick to caricature props in everyday life. They are a team that receives international praise for showing unpredictable thrill based on brilliant ideas. I'm looking forward to the stage of 'Tape Face', which brings out excellent imagination, elaborate gestures, and endless tools that pop out of a small bag to life.
'Yoshimoto Owarii Show', which presents a pictogram mime that drew global attention at the opening ceremony of the '2020 Tokyo Olympics', will be performed together by three teams. Garbage (GABEZ), who won the 'Laughter Sea Award' at the 11th 'Bucope', world-renowned influencer Wes P (WES-P), who drew a stroke of table-taking gag, and DOG, a master of muscle gag, will join forces to leave out the souls of viewers.
On the other hand, 'Bubble Show in Space' is a performance that transcends the imagination of soap bubbles as they cross soap shows, mimes, puppet shows, and picture stimuli. The performance, presented by Kurt Armin Murray (Kurt Armin Murray) and Iulia Benze (Yulia Benz), is expected to arouse the admiration of viewers who fill the stage and satisfy the five senses of all ages.
Finally, the stand-up comedy show 'MICF Roadshow with BICF' features three famous Australian comedians performing gags in two short intervals, each for 30 minutes. Ivan Aristeguieta, Claire Hooper, and Dave Thornton, who will perform, are famous performers who have toured internationally, making audiences laugh in their respective styles. Although there is no specific topic, attention is drawn to the fact that it is responsible for the laughter of visitors with a variety of stories.
Based on this novel and ingenious idea, the overseas performance team that will lead the performance is expected to press the button properly for the laughter of domestic and foreign audiences.
