The late Lee Sun-kyun's posthumous work 'Escape: Project Silence' (hereinafter 'Escape') topped the overall box office as soon as it was released. 'Escape' is a story of people struggling to survive out-of-control military experimental dogs released on the airport bridge on the verge of collapse after a series of crashes in thick fog.

According to the Korea Film Council's integrated computer network, the movie 'escape' was ranked No. 1 in the overall box office on July 12 (Friday), the first day of its release, attracting 100,184 viewers.

This is the result of beating not only 'Inside Out 2' but also other prominent domestic and foreign competitors such as 'Departure', 'Handsome Guys' and 'Hijacking', proving its popularity as a disaster survival thriller that provides the best team play and overwhelming spectacle for actors to escape from the airport bridge on the verge of collapse.
