TWICE The First and Greatest World Tour to Draw 1.5 Million Fans

TWICE has made history with their fifth world tour, attracting a total of 1.5 million spectators.

On July 27 and 28, TWICE performed at Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa, Japan, marking the first time an overseas female artist headlined this venue. This performance was part of their year-long world tour, which included 51 performances across 27 regions, including Japan, North America, Australia, Europe, Southeast Asia, and South America. Highlights of the tour included sold-out shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and MetLife Stadium in New York.

The tour began in April 2023 at KSPO Dome in Seoul. TWICE then performed four sold-out shows in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, in May. In June and July, they sold out SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and MetLife Stadium in New York, drawing a total of 250,000 attendees across 13 performances in nine U.S. cities, including Los Angeles, Oakland, Seattle, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, New York, Atlanta and Toronto in Canada, further solidifying their status as a global stadium headliner.

TWICE embarked on their first European tour in September 2023, with concerts in London, Paris, and Berlin, and continued to expand their global influence with solo concerts in Singapore, Bangkok, and Bulacan, Philippines. Notably, they became the first K-pop group to perform solo at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne in November 2023 and sold out Allianz Parque in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in February 2024. Other major venues included Jakarta International Stadium, Mexico City's Foro Sol, and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Through this world tour, TWICE achieved a remarkable milestone by attracting more than 1.5 million cumulative audience members.

TWICE became the first foreign female artist to perform at Nissan Stadium, drawing a total of 140,000 fans over two shows, once again proving their presence as "stadium artists." Even before the Nissan Stadium concerts began, numerous excited ONCEs (the fandom name for TWICE) lined up at the ticket booths and merchandise stands in front of the stadium. A 17-year-old fan, who was sitting on the steps at the entrance to the seating area with a big smile, shared, "I became a fan after seeing TWICE's first local single 'One More Time' when I was in the fifth grade. I also attended their solo concert at Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo last May. This Nissan Stadium concert holds special significance for both TWICE and their fans, so I wanted to see the performance in person and share this moment. I'm truly happy to be at the same venue as TWICE on such a meaningful day."

Akane (36) and Kiyoshi (60), both wearing merchandise uniforms signifying that TWICE and ONCE are "one team," expressed their excitement by taking pictures of each other. Kiyoshi, in particular, shared his feelings: "I tried many times to get tickets for TWICE concerts held in Japan, but since ticket lotteries are so competitive, I haven't been to many concerts. Being at the historic Nissan Stadium and being one of the 70,000 attendees is something I will remember as a special moment for the rest of my life." Akane also expressed her pride, saying, "There are not many local artists who can gather such a large audience at a venue as big as Nissan Stadium, and it's a great feat for an international artist to have a stadium tour in Japan. I'm very proud that the first foreign female artist to perform at Nissan Stadium is a singer I love."

TWICE described their performance at Nissan Stadium as "a long-cherished dream" and delivered an exceptional show, with ONCE responding with enthusiastic cheers, making it a memorable event. In May 2023, they became the first K-pop girl group to successfully hold solo concerts at Osaka's Yanmar Stadium Nagai and Tokyo's Ajinomoto Stadium. They added four dome performances in December at Nagoya Dome and Fukuoka PayPay Dome, attracting a total of 370,000 attendees across eight local concerts that year. As part of their fifth world tour, TWICE revisited Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka and Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo in July 2024, approximately 14 months later, and drew 360,000 attendees over six concerts, including the two at Nissan Stadium on the 27th and 28th. With 14 performances in Japan between 2023 and 2024, they amassed a total audience of 730,000, reaffirming their immense influence.

As the "global top girl group" concludes their fifth world tour, all eyes are on TWICE's next steps on the world stage.
