'Walkdown Tonken Reward'Lisa Offers Over a Month's Pay to Close Streets

Lisa, a member of the group BLACKPINK, paid more than a month's salary to nearby merchants in exchange for closing the streets of Bangkok's Chinatown in Thailand to shoot a music video for her new song 'Rockstar'.

According to Hong Kong's South China Morning Post (SCMP) on the 4th (local time), Lisa filmed a music video for a new song on Yawarat Street, a Chinatown in Bangkok, Thailand, in May.

Filming took place from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. with the streets completely closed for three days. Despite the fact that most of the time was over, Lisa reportedly offered 20,000 baht (about 750,000 won) in compensation to the merchants, saying that the filming caused noise and inconvenience. This amount corresponds to more than a month's salary in Thailand. It is also known that it will give 1,000 baht (about 37,000 won) to passers-by who are uncomfortable with street traffic.
