Yongsan Police Station in Seoul said on the 26th that it had booked a toddler on charges of sexually assaulting a man A, who was sleeping in an officetel on the 14th. Under the current law, similar rape is applied when the same sex sexually assaulted.
It was found that the officetel was not Yoo Ah-in or A's residence. There were also other men at the scene at the time.
The police investigated the complainant the day before. The complainant's simple drug reagent test was found to be negative.
The police have yet to summon Yoo Ah-in for questioning. A police official said "The accused will be summoned for questioning in the near future."
Police are also considering the possibility that a toddler on trial for habitual drug use committed the crime while taking drugs.
Meanwhile, Yoo Ah-in was indicted without detention on charges of habitual administration of medical propofol 181 times at hospitals in Seoul from September 2020 to March 2022. He is also accused of illegally buying 1,100 trips of sleeping pills in the name of another person 44 times between May 2021 and August 2022. In addition, he is accused of smoking marijuana in the United States with four accomplices, including Choi, an acquaintance, and teaching others to smoke.
