'120 Billionaire'David Yong Charges Fraud..A conviction carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison



David Yong (real name Yong Kung-rin, 37) known as a 120 billion man of assets, was arrested in Singapore on fraud charges and put on trial.

Singaporean media outlet The Straits Times reported on the 4th that `David Yong has been charged with falsifying accounts.' According to the media, David Yong was arrested on the 1st and charged on the 3rd.

David Yong is accused of falsifying accounts in connection with Evergreen Group Holdings promissory note transactions. In addition, in 2021, David Yong is accused of ordering a company official to forge tax invoices in the name of selling large quantities of household appliances and home appliances.



The media predicted that David Yong could face a fine, up to 10 years in prison, or both punishments if convicted.

It was also reported that a company run by David Yong was also registered on the Singapore Monetary Authority's investor warning list on January 27 last year. Singapore authorities explained that David Yong's company was listed to warn consumers that it did not have the regulations or permits necessary to provide financial services.

Meanwhile, David Yong, a lawyer born in 1987, is the CEO of Evergreen Group Holdings and is known as Singapore's top 1% asset with 15 buildings and 120 billion cash.

In 2021, he made his debut as a singer in Korea and released 'My Way', 'In My Pocket', 'Maybe We', and 'Drinking' with Yoon Min-soo, starting with the OST of 'School 2021'.



Recently, he appeared on Netflix 'Super Rich Stranger' and introduced that he lives in Signiel, Korea's top-notch residence, and owns a total of 11 supercars.
