Yeo Seo-jung will compete in the women's vault final at the 2024 Paris Olympics at 11:20 p.m. on the 3rd (Korea time). It is a match against gymnastics world star Simone Biles (USA) and North Korea's Ahn Chang-ok, drawing more attention.
Yeo Seo-jung, who won the bronze medal in the women's vault at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, is the first Olympic medalist in Korean women's gymnastics. He is also the father and KBS commentator Yeo Hong-chul, who won the 1996 Atlanta Olympics gold medal, and the "Women's Olympic medalist".
If Yeo Seo-jung wins a medal at this Olympics, she will be the first Korean gymnast to win a medal for two consecutive Olympics. Along with Yeo Seo-jung, Heo Woong, a member of the men's massage national team, is also aiming for a medal.
