BoA, the renowned artist from SM Entertainment, has revealed plans for a live tour across Asia, including a highly anticipated stop in Seoul. The tour, titled "BoA LIVE TOUR - BoA: One's Own," will see the artist visiting several major cities in the region.

The new tour dates were announced today (August 8) through BoA's official fan club community and social media accounts, creating a buzz among fans. BoA's tour will kick off in Seoul, South Korea, with performances at the Handball Stadium in Olympic Park on October 12-13, which sold out quickly, demonstrating her enduring popularity even after 24 years in the industry. Following Seoul, the tour will travel to Jakarta, Indonesia, on October 26; Taipei, Taiwan, on November 23; and Singapore on November 30.

BoA's upcoming performances will feature a comprehensive set list showcasing her extensive discography, including a mix of her greatest hits and unique dance performances. This tour comes approximately a year and seven months after her 20th anniversary concert held in March last year.

Earlier this year, BoA appeared in the tvN drama "Marry My Husband" and released a new song titled "Emptiness?" However, she has faced negative comments regarding her appearance, which have caused her significant distress.

In response to the criticism, BoA expressed her frustration publicly, addressing the haters with candid remarks about the hurtful comments she has received. She mentioned feeling disheartened by the focus on her weight and appearance and urged people to stop wasting time on negativity.

Despite these challenges, BoA has affirmed her commitment to her career, stating that her contract extends until December 31, 2025, and she intends to continue working as a singer. However, she also hinted at the possibility of retirement, which has raised concerns among her fans.

In light of the ongoing harassment, SM Entertainment has issued a statement condemning the slander and announcing that BoA is suffering from significant mental distress. The agency has been collecting evidence of malicious acts, including false claims and sexual harassment, and has appointed Sejong Law Firm as their legal representative to file a complaint and seek prompt action against the offenders.
