Police said they have confirmed the route of Suga (real name Min Yoon-ki) of BTS (BTS), a group suspected of driving under the influence of electric scooters, and are adjusting the date of the summons.

At a regular press conference on the 12th, an official from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said, `We tracked the movement from the location of the accident and confirmed the final travel distance and route where Suga drank and drove a scooter" he said.

He also explained that he is coordinating specific dates, saying that he will summon Suga soon to investigate.

When asked by reporters whether Suga asked for a private appearance, he answered, `I haven't been contacted yet.'

The Yongsan Police Station in Seoul plans to officially summon Suga soon to investigate the amount of alcohol he drank and how he drank.

Suga fell while riding an electric scooter near his home in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, on the night of the 6th, and police patrolling the neighborhood conducted a sobriety test and found that his blood alcohol level was 0.227%, far above the standard for revocation of his license (more than 0.08%).

According to Article 148-2 (3) of the Road Traffic Act, if the blood alcohol level is more than 0.08%, the license will be revoked and imprisoned for more than one year and two years or fined more than 5 million won and less than 10 million won. However, if the figure exceeds 0.2%, the punishment will be strengthened with imprisonment for more than two years and less than five years or a fine of more than 10 million won and less than 20 million won.

The police did not recognize that Suga was a member of BTS at the time, and they only took measures to return home after failing to properly investigate Suga because he was intoxicated. The electric scooter that Suga drove was also not confiscated. As a result, it is believed that Suga should be summoned again and further investigated, such as writing a record.

Police have begun administrative disposition procedures to revoke Suga's license.

In the midst of this, attention is being paid to whether Suga, who is currently working as a social service worker, will be on the photo line for the first time as a BTS member.

Regarding the possibility of Suga being on the photo line, lawyer Cho Ki-yeon told the TV Chosun News' on the 12th that `"According to the police officer's public information rules, it was revised not to disclose attendance information. It should not be (disclosed)," "However, more criticism is being raised over allegations that Suga or his agency tried to reduce the case at the beginning of the incident. So in the process of adjusting the attendance schedule, if Suga himself says he will apologize to the people or fans, it can be made public."

Meanwhile, Suga entered the training center in Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do in March to receive basic military training and is currently working as a social service worker. Suga's call-up date is June 2025.
