BTS Suga, who is suspected of driving an electric scooter after drinking, is being investigated by police 17 days after the incident.

Suga appeared at Yongsan Police Station in Seoul at 7:45 p.m. on the 23rd to be investigated for suspected drunk driving.

Suga, who appeared in a black suit and a thin face on this day, said "I'm very sorry. I'm truly reflecting on the fact that I gave a lot of fans and people a big disappointment"I'll come back to investigate faithfully. Once again, I'm sorry," he bowed and apologized.

After that, Suga headed to the investigation room without answering the reporters' questions, such as Is it true that he only had a glass of beer.

According to the police, Suga is accused of driving an electric scooter while drunk on the afternoon of the 6th (under the Road Traffic Act). At the time, Suga fell while driving an electric scooter while drunk, and was caught by police passing by the scene.

Suga was known to have told the police that he had only had a glass of beer, but criticism poured in after it was reported that Suga's blood alcohol concentration was 0.227% intoxicated at the time.

Shortly after the incident, Suga and his agency said "We violated the road traffic laws without realizing that it was not possible to use an electric kickboard while drinking." However, CCTV later revealed that Suga was riding an electric scooter, sparking controversy over whether he intended to reduce the incident.

In response, the agency explained that "the product used by the artist was a kickboard with a saddle, and therefore it was recognized that the classification may vary depending on the performance and specifications of the product, and the scope of responsibility for the accident may also vary during further verification.", he also apologized.

Meanwhile, based on the data obtained so far, the police plan to focus on how Suga drove under the influence, the amount of alcohol he drank, and the route he drove under the influence.
