Suga's handwritten apology:

Hello, I’m Suga.

I want to offer my deepest apologies once again, feeling both shame and regret.

I am truly sorry for the disappointment and hurt caused by my actions. I made a grave mistake by neglecting the responsibility to act in a way deserving of the love and support I’ve received.

On the night of August 6th, I made the poor decision to ride an electric scooter on the sidewalk after consuming alcohol. I also regret the confusion caused by the hasty apology I posted on the 7th.

I should have been more thoughtful and cautious, but I failed to do so. I acknowledge that my carelessness has caused distress to those who care about me.

I vow to make amends and strive to live with genuine remorse. This incident has tarnished the precious memories I’ve shared with the members and fans, and has placed undue pressure on the name of BTS.

I feel immense regret and pain, knowing that my actions have impacted both the members and the team. I am especially sorry for the difficulties my actions have caused to the members who have always trusted me and to the fans who have supported me so much.

I understand that words alone cannot mend the wounds or heal the disappointment. I deeply regret my actions and reflect on them with a heavy heart every day.

Once again, I sincerely apologize to the fans who have been hurt by my behavior. I am prepared to face criticism and consequences for my actions.

Finally, I offer my heartfelt apologies for causing a social stir and disappointing many people.
