On the 19th, Judge Choi Min-hye of the Seoul Central District Court held a second trial of Kim Ho-joong, who was indicted on charges of violating the law on aggravated punishment for certain crimes (hazardous driving injuries).
On this day, Kim Ho-joong sat in court looking somewhat gaunt in a black suit and did not raise his head. Kim Ho-joong's lawyer said "We acknowledge all the facts of the indictment."
At the same time, he explained that he had agreed with the victims of the drunk accident. In response, the court said it would hold a final hearing on the 30th of next month after reviewing the evidence records.
At the final hearing, the court decides the date of the sentence after the prosecution's request and the defendant's final argument are made one after another. Usually, the sentencing date is set one month after the final hearing.

Meanwhile, Kim Ho-joong is accused of drinking and driving on the road in Sinsa-dong, Seoul, at around 11:40 p.m. on May 9, crashing into a taxi, and making his manager turn himself in instead. He admitted to drinking, but there was no record because he attended the police late after fleeing, and he did not apply the drunk driving charge because he thought it was difficult to specify the drinking level only by reverse calculation over time. Currently, Kim Ho-joong's arrest period has been extended by two months and changed to October.
