The movie 'To Her' is a moving true story about the 10-year journey of a newspaper political reporter who was aiming for a professional life as a mother of an unplanned disabled child. He was actually a political reporter at the National Assembly and was based on an essay by Ryu Seung-yeon, a parent of a child with developmental disabilities.
In the film 'To Her', Sang-yeon plans to achieve everything as planned, with confidence in her career and the number of children in her 40s and 50s as a political reporter. He does not bend his conviction in front of famous politicians, works in the field until the last month of pregnancy, and gives birth to twin siblings and then works and parenting at the same time. One day, after the second Jiwoo, who was slow to grow, was diagnosed with a second-degree developmental disability, a completely different life begins to unfold to Sangyeon than before.
Kim Jae-hwa, who showed Cheon's face in recent movies 'smuggling', 'Extreme Festival', 'Hwasaeng She', plays the role of the performance and perfectly plays every moment of the character, giving a deeper sense of immersion. Kim Jae-hwa reveals the heartbreak of a character who tells his child that his life was mortgageed because of you, starting with guilt that seems to be all his fault, why this happened to my family. On top of that, the image of overcoming the love power of children, husbands, and families evokes realistic empathy.
Kim Jae-hwa was busy with his work and started living in Yangyang, Gangwon-do, to be more faithful to his family, when he was contacted by director Lee Sang-chul and appeared in the film. While reading the scenario, "I felt that I was in contact with Sang-yeon, whose child was diagnosed with a developmental disability and went through a major change in life while living fiercely.' The play was completed with a deep acting that the actor himself said, "'A work that makes me learn life and look back on my life.'"
At some point, he becomes infinitely weak, but Kim Jae-hwa says about Sang-yeon, who accepts his situation and lives a firm life, that the burden of his lost life is heavy, but the message that he can find happiness in it is conveyed to 'they' similar to Sang-yeon and even to everyone in the world.
The film 'To Her' was invited to the Busan International Film Festival, the Seoul Independent Film Festival, the Muju Mountain Film Festival, the 6411 Film Festival, the Malaysian International Film Festival, and the Seoul International Children's Film Festival. Each film festival was well received as a "movie with the power to change the world", followed by support and praise from the audience. The original author, Ryu Seung-yeon, participated in the adaptation and gave it authenticity, and the developmental disability parties and their families appeared in person to add meaning. The Heart Heart Orchestra, which consists of people with developmental disabilities, participated in the movie OST work.
Prior to the nationwide release, Tumblebuck funding will be held until the 18th.
