On the 10th (Korea time), the women's team bronze medal match between South Korea and Germany was held at the South Paris Arena 4 in Paris, France.
On this day, the women's table tennis team, consisting of Shin Yoo-bin, Jeon Ji-hee and Lee Eun-hye, won a brilliant bronze medal with a 3-0 victory over Germany. This marks the first time in 16 years that Korean women's table tennis has won a medal since the team bronze medal of Kim Kyung-ah, Park Mi-young and Tang Ye-seo at the 2008 Beijing Games. As soon as they succeeded in winning the bronze medal, the team hugged each other in a circle and shared their joy.
In particular, Lee Dong-wook, Min-ho, and Cha Ye-ryeon and Joo Sang-wook visited the stadium in person to support Korean players. They were also captured on broadcast cameras cheering for the players. Lee Dong-wook gave a thumbs-up to the South Korean players when they scored, and Min-ho waved the Korean flag and applauded. In addition, when Korea won the bronze medal, both arms were raised and cheered loudly.
