Lee Sangsoon and Lee Hyori Reveal Plans to Move to Seoul Later This Year

Lee Sangsoon will relocate to Seoul in the second half of this year.

On the 12th, a video titled "EP.01 I Miss You - Guest Lee Sangsoon" was posted on Kim Bum-soo's YouTube channel.

In the video, Kim Bum-soo prepared coffee for Lee Sangsoon and asked, "If I make a mistake, please correct me." Lee Sangsoon responded modestly, saying, "I don't know very well. I was just running the café. Making coffee (well) is something I'm still learning."

He continued, "I used to make coffee for Hyori at home. Initially, she didn't like coffee, but after I started brewing specialty coffee every day, she began to develop a taste for it. She keeps saying she doesn't know much about it, but I think she can tell the difference between good and bad coffee now."

Lee Sangsoon, who plans to end his life on Jeju Island and move to Seoul with his wife, Lee Hyori, mentioned, "We'll be moving to Seoul in the second half of the year. The house in Seoul is already being prepared."

When Kim Bum-soo asked, "Is there a decisive reason why you suddenly decided to move to Seoul after living in Jeju for 11 years?" Lee Sangsoon explained, "Hyori and I decided to return to our hometown to focus on our main careers again."

He added, "Living on Jeju Island has been great, but it's also been very challenging. There's so much work to do, like maintaining the property. You know how people dream of living in the countryside, but there's a lot of work outside the house. I used to have six dogs and three cats, and now we still have five pets."

Reflecting on his experience, Lee Sangsoon said, "I'm grateful I had the chance to experience rural life when I was younger. When I move to Seoul, I plan to enjoy everything the city has to offer, like ordering delivery every day and living a different lifestyle." He also expressed his excitement about reuniting with friends, music colleagues, and collaborating on new projects in Seoul.
