Actor and producer Lee Jung-jae has returned to the preparation process for Disney+ 'Acolite'.

Lee Jung-jae said, "I studied English for more than 10 months to prepare 'Acolite' at the 2024 BroadCast WorldWide (BCWW) special session 'Lee Jung-jae: Endless Challenge' held at the COEX Conference Room in Samseong-dong, Seoul on the afternoon of the 27th."

Lee Jung-jae became the first Asian actor to enter the world view of Star Wars through Disney+ 'Acolite', which was released in June. He was the first Asian to play the Jedi master, saying, "'Actually, I'm not good at English, so I wonder if there are a lot of English lines.'" The production team must have known that my English was this good during the interview. So I thought there wouldn't be a lot of dialogue and a lot of footage, but when I got the scenario after I was cast, I found that he was a perfect male protagonist with too much footage. Since he's a leading character in the play, he had a lot of lines" he said.

Thinking of the preparation process for the work, he then took a four-hour class every day from the Dialogue coach because of the lack of time, and personally studied a lot overnight. I've done this effort for almost 10 months. Maybe the production team never thought I was good at English. I felt that I was cast after seeing how I expressed my acting. The director also said, `I want to see Lee Jung-jae's own sensibility of seeing, expressing, and interpreting this work.'

Meanwhile, BCWWW is an event hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister Yoo In-chon) and co-hosted by the Korea Creative Content Agency (Director Cho Hyun-rae) and COEX, and will be held for three days from the 27th to the 29th.
