'Long live Korean independence!' ★ that inherited the DNA of independent fighters Lee Seo-jin, Kim Ji-seok, and Bae Sung-jae

Stars who are descendants of independence activists are attracting attention on the 79th anniversary of Liberation Day.

This year marks the 79th anniversary of Korea's liberation from Japan on August 15, 1945, and the establishment of the Korean government on August 15, 1948.

Actor Lee Seo-jin is a descendant of Lee Sang-ryong, the first state decree of the Provisional Government.

Lee Sang-ryong is an independence activist and served as the first state decree of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea.

In particular, Lee Sang-ryong reportedly organized all his assets, including Imcheonggak, which was a 99-room mansion after the Korea-Japan annexation treaty, and defected to West Gando with his family to help the independence movement.

He later helped establish the Gyeonghaksa Temple organization, an autonomous organization for the independence movement, and the Shinheung Training Center, which was later renamed Shinheung Military School

In addition, actor Kim Ji-seok's grandfather is Kim Sung-il, a student of Baekbeom Kim Gu.

Kim Sung-il began his activities as a member of the Independence Volunteer Corps from the age of 14, and was arrested by Japanese imperialism in 1932 with doctor Yoon Bong-gil and imprisoned for four months.

Kim Ji-seok appeared on SBS 'My Ugly Baby' in 2019 and introduced his story related to his grandfather.

At that time, Kim Ji-seok "Grandfather was a bit unusual and interesting person. My father's name was born in Onyang, so it was Kim Onyang."

Kim Ji-seok then said, `My second oldest father is Kim Jang-chung, and my second oldest son is Kim London because he was born in London.'

Kim Ji-seok is "a family tradition. My eldest brother was born in Sinsa-dong and almost became Kim Shin-sa, but my mother opposed it very much."

Kim Ji-seok then said "I was born on Easter and almost became Kim Boo-hwal. His real name is Kim Jewel."

In addition, broadcaster Bae Sung-jae also revealed that he is a descendant of an independence activist.

In fact, Bae Seong-jae is the only grandson of an independence fighter and national merit 'Shin Yeong-ho', who led the March 1st Movement in 1919 and later received 'Ae-Jokjang' from the state (under the Commercial Order Act amended by Act No. 4222 in January 1990).

Shin Young-ho was attending Gyeongseong Central School during the March 1st Movement, but he returned to his hometown after obtaining the Declaration of Independence with the intention of the independence movement.

Later, while producing and printing the Declaration of Independence and related warnings, the Japanese martyr discovered it and sentenced him to 10 months in prison.
