BJ Juicy Se-yeon Clarifies U.S. Meeting with HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk

On the 11th, BJ and YouTuber Juicy Se-yeon addressed rumors surrounding her recent meeting with HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk in Los Angeles during a live broadcast titled "World Star Appears." 

The speculation began after a YouTube channel posted a video on August 8th showing Bang Si-hyuk walking in Beverly Hills, California, alongside Juicy Se-yeon, leading to widespread media coverage.

Juicy Se-yeon, who has quickly gained nationwide recognition in Korea over the past month, commented on the situation, even noting that the story made headlines in the U.S. as well. Appearing on the live stream in the same outfit she wore in LA, she said, "Chairman Bang Si-hyuk once informed me about someone impersonating HYBE last year. The impersonator had contacted me, claiming to know the chairman, and I helped HYBE gather data to catch the individual."

Regarding the photo that sparked the rumors, HYBE explained that the meeting was an "accidental encounter." However, Juicy Se-yeon questioned this, saying, "How do you just run into someone in the United States? Given that Bang Si-hyuk has facial recognition difficulties, calling it 'accidental' might be misleading."

Juicy Se-yeon further explained the circumstances of their meeting: "I was trying to go to a popular restaurant with my sister, and she reached out to Chairman Bang to help us make a reservation, as it was difficult to get one. He agreed to accompany us, especially given the past incident with impersonators. The woman who took the photo of us was actually my sister."

Reflecting on the attention she has received, Juicy Se-yeon remarked, "I became a celebrity just from that walking picture. Many people watched the broadcast when I returned to Korea. I feel like everyone in Korea knows me now," expressing her surprise and joy at the sudden fame.
