The group VIVIZ, which made headlines with their chart resurgence thanks to their song "MANIAC," has renewed their contract with their current agency, Big Planet Made Entertainment.

On August 23, Big Planet Made Entertainment announced, "We have recently renewed our contract with VIVIZ. We are delighted to have achieved great results together since the group's new start with SinB, Eunha, and Umji in 2021. We will continue to do our best to support VIVIZ so they can continue their successful activities."

VIVIZ responded to the contract renewal news by saying, "We are always grateful to Big Planet Made Entertainment for being with us through this new beginning and helping us achieve another miracle resurgence. We are excited to take another step forward together. We will strive to show even better performances and make our fans and the public proud as VIVIZ, as well as as SinB, Eunha, and Umji."

Former GFRIEND members SinB, Eunha, and Umji started anew as the three-member group VIVIZ under Big Planet Made Entertainment in 2021. They made their debut with the mini-album "Beam of Prism" in February 2022. They continued to be active with mini-albums "Summer Vibe," "VarioUS," and "Versus."

The title track "MANIAC" from their fourth mini-album "Versus," released last November, achieved a chart resurgence this year, entering the top 10 on Melon and receiving considerable love. Additionally, the "Pop Your Ongdong" dance challenge from "MANIAC" became popular on various short-form platforms, further boosting its popularity. As of August, the song remains on the music charts, and the music video has surpassed 30 million views.

Since June, VIVIZ has been holding their first world tour, "2024 VIVIZ World Tour [V.hind: Love and Tears]," which has been successful across 27 cities in Asia and the Americas. They have upcoming concerts in Yokohama and Osaka, Japan, on September 26 and 28.

Following their world tour, VIVIZ is currently preparing for a comeback in the second half of the year with a new album.
