Cha confirmed his appearance in the new series 'Pig Uri', adding another impressive piece to his filmography. 'Pig Uri' is a mystery thriller in which Jinwoo (played by Jang Ki-yong), the main character who lost his memory and made a crash landing on a deserted island, searches for lost memories to survive among a strange family, based on a popular Naver webtoon.
Cha Seung-won appeared as the owner of the only pension on a remote island in the play, and played a role of confusion for Jin-woo, who lost his memory. He plans to increase the level of immersion in the play with his unique mysterious atmosphere, charisma, and mid-low voice. In particular, Cha Seung-won, who has been mentioned several times as a virtual casting among fans due to his high synchronicity with the original character, is expected to draw another unique character by joining hands with director Kim Sang-man, who worked together in the film Jeon, Lan.
Cha Seung-won said "Pig Uri" is a unique genre that has never been experienced before, so it was even more attractive. I'm looking forward to the outcome because it's a work I really wanted to try once."
Meanwhile, Cha Seung-won played a two-sided clinical role in the Disney+ original series 『The Tyrant』, which was released on the 14th, and received favorable reviews for his irreplaceable character digestibility and unshakable action. He continues his active activities in various genres, ranging from movies and dramas to entertainment `Three Meals a Day', which is set to be released in the second half of the year, and has established himself as an icon of sincerity.
