Kwon Mina Announces Comeback as an Internet Broadcaster

Kwon Mina, a former member of the popular girl group AOA, is set to return to internet broadcasting.

A recent notice on her official fan cafe announced that Kwon Mina will reconnect with fans through YouTube and other internet platforms.

Kwon Mina also shared the announcement on her personal social media account, asking fans to support her, saying, "Please pay a lot of attention."

Kwon Mina debuted with AOA in 2012 and gained popularity with hit songs such as "Short Hair," "Miniskirt," "Like a Cat," and "Heart Attack." However, she abruptly left the group in 2019. In 2020, she revealed that she had been bullied by fellow member Jimin for 10 years, accusing other members of being bystanders. The revelation led to Jimin's departure from the group, and AOA went on an indefinite hiatus.

Despite her initial outpouring of public support, Kwon Mina faced several controversies, including backlash for sending abusive messages to Jimin, allegations of power abuse against staff, accusations of infidelity, and criticism for indoor smoking.

After a period of self-reflection following these controversies, Kwon Mina has continued to speak about the bullying she experienced. However, after four years, some members of the public have expressed fatigue over her repeated mentions of Jimin, urging her to move forward with her life.

As Kwon Mina prepares for her return to broadcasting, there is speculation about whether she will address her past issues with Jimin once again.

In a recent appearance on a YouTube channel, Kwon Mina expressed her determination to succeed, saying, "I'm responsible because I'm the head of the family. I need to make a lot of money. There is a company that will sign a contract soon. I enjoy being a celebrity; it suits me very well."
